Dayton - In recognition of excellence and an ongoing commitment to children, Easter Seals Child Development Center, a service of Goodwill Easter Seals Miami Valley, has received a Two-Star Step Up To Quality Award from the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, Bureau of Child Care and Development, the state agency responsible for licensing and promoting high standards among Ohio’s early care and education programs.  

Dayton – More than 400 guests gathered on March 8 as Goodwill Easter Seals Miami Valley honored award winners and celebrated its 78th Annual Awards Celebration at the Mandalay Banquet Center at 2700 Dryden Road.

A Brighter Tomorrow Foundation grant has provided the funding for a Resource Room for parents, teachers and others who work with children with Autism and other needs.

The Goodwill Outlet facility at 1750 Woodman Drive in Dayton was recently awarded LEED-NC Gold certification by the U.S. Green Building Council.

In an effort to maintain Dayton’s heritage and share it with the community, Goodwill Easter Seals Miami Valley will donate historic items from its vintage clothing collection to Dayton History this week.
